Prince of Peace Lutheran Church - LCMS In Coralville, Iowa

A Congregation in the Right Place, at the Right Time, with the Right Message

Everyone should have Someone Praying for them.

If you would like someone to be praying for you, email us at POPCoralville@msn.com and tell us your need. Pastor Otto is the only one who reads the emails that come to this address. He will pass it along.

Give us your first name and what it is that you want us to pray for you. We will pray every day for the next seven days.

If you would like us to pray for you for another seven days, please email us back at the end of the week. We will keep praying for as long as you keep requesting.

If things resolve, or there is an answer, please let us know.

We also take Prayer Requests before and during each service on Sunday mornings and encourage you to attend and hear the prayers raised to God on your behalf.

Prayers you can be Praying

The Lord's Prayer:

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done.
On earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive the trespasses of others.
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever.
Amen

LUTHER'S MORNING PRAYER:

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.  Amen.

I thank you, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son, that You have kept me this night from all harm and danger; and I pray that You would keep me this day also from sin and every evil, that all my doings and life may please You.  For into Your hands I commend myself, my body and soul, and all things.  Let Your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me.  Amen.

LUTHER'S EVENING PRAYER:

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.  Amen.

I thank you, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son, that You have graciously kept me this day; and I pray that You would forgive me all my sins where I have done wrong, and graciously keep me this night.  For into Your hands, I commend myself, my body and soul, and all things.  Let Your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me.  Amen.

Psalm 56:1-4

... Be gracious to me, O God, for man tramples on me; all day long an attacker oppresses me; my enemies trample on me all day long, for many attack me proudly. When I am afraid, I put my trust in You. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?

Psalm 55:16

But I call to God, and the Lord will save me.

Psalm 109:4b

... But I give myself to prayer.
