ABOVE ALL ELSE, to be a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is to be someone who is committed to weekly worship with fellow Christians, receiving from God all of His gifts in Word and Sacrament.

To help parents educate their children in preparation for life-long worship, the congregation offers Confirmation Instruction for all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. These classes are held on Sunday evening (each year the parents decide the time), led by the Pastor, covering the topics of the Small Catechism, using a variety of means and media. Confirmation is not a classroom experience as the students understand it from going to school, but a dialogue between them and their Pastor, in support of what their parents are teaching them at home. Once completed, the young people become Confirmed members of the congregation.

Adults also receive Confirmation Instruction from the Pastor on an individual basis.
